Just as a point of logic... One of @JDVance's rationales for this deal was that the interest of the U.S. and Israel sometimes diverge. That's no doubt true. But then why should he berate Israel for objecting to a deal that they feel is not in their interest? Vance is not a bad guy, but he should get himself a Tucker-ectomy and a nobler set of principles.

Sorry, VP Vance: People saying this MOU is capitulation aren't "war hawks" who want a forever war and boots on the ground. It's not calling for boots on the ground to point out that we had Iran on the ropes without that and are letting up the pressure when they are weakest.

Tucker Carlson calls Israel our “rival” and “opponent.” He then claims Israel enabled and was fine with the 9/11 attacks on us. We’re living in a post-truth society where people like Tucker spread so many lies that nobody knows what to believe anymore.

The MOU with Iran is nothing short of a complete surrender. Regardless of whether you support the war or not, there is not reason to have given Iran everything it wanted, to get NOTHING but 60 more days to talk. I’m sorry America, because this is an EPIC FAILURE.

Let's talk about the deal and what's going on with Trump. The elephant in the room. Israel has been defending her enemies for thousands of years before any western leader came along. Israel is not a vassal state. It is not a puppet and it doesn't need anyone's permission to survive. If this is all a political chess game, peacocking and posturing I will be the first to make amends, but right now there are just too many inconsistencies for me to make sense of and this game of trickery is getting very very old. There is no reason that at this point the regime should be left standing at least none that I can think of. Midterm elections? The price of gas? All of these are short-term issues. What we need is to eradicate the cancer that is the Iran machine, obliterate terrorism and stop Jihadism and it needs to be done now.
