@kimgoodwin I feel, something being perceived as “Jargon” is subjective to your audience. It can be used bamboozle. I like brevity as well as clear and precise communication. As a counter; expert terminology and less common language can also be educational and delightful - know your audience

So much this. Speaking in plain language signals your confidence & expertise; obscuring your meaning with jargon tells people you lack one or the other.

@MrAlanCooper Feels too easy to agree. There are plenty of examples where icons have served people well & so many where they have been the issue. Same could be said for all things the amount of really good is always outweighed mediocre and bad. Too sweeping a statement- or are you trolling ;)

In case you were wondering… Your icons are already far too detailed and too precious. That New Icon Initiative your people are working on? it’s a stupid waste of time and money and will only make things worse. I case you were wondering...
