Well then, Glenn, you burnished your rep as a loyal, which means you are still a go for such things as WH visits and elite events. When he said Syria would do a better job against Hezbollah than Israel could do to defend itself, he became a simple lame duck for my purposes. Good on you, though, there is more money on that side of the road.

I get why so many people are frustrated or skeptical about this Iran MOU. On paper, it looks like a massive compromise: $300 billion in unfrozen assets, a fixed schedule to lift sanctions, and immediate oil export waivers for Tehran. But what were we expecting when on one side, Trump is facing an apocalyptic regime that wants the world to burn and on the other, an American public that has no stomach for war? He played the cards that were actually on the table. I’m sick and tired of the politicians and podcasters who bitch and complain no matter what Trump does. They scream that the war has to stop, but the second he stops it, they turn around and yell, "what kind of deal is this?!" If the goal is to actually end Iran’s regime, history shows there's only one model that works: total WWII-style defeat, occupation, and denazification. That requires American boots on the ground and an Iranian people ready to build a free country from the rubble. But NO ONE, myself included, wants boots on the ground. Is this MOU what Trump wanted? I doubt it. But he did exactly what a leader of a Republic should do: he listened to the people and found a way to end this. A dictator would have kept on going. At the end of the day, a president can only go as far as the people will carry him. Right now, our appetite for war stops at the gas pump.

@Nervana_1 That is very scary! Vance is a disaster and Rubio is the only responsible adult in that administration.

Trump terms out. Rubio will have resigned and rearmed for a 2028 run. He will have plenty of political ammo against Vance. He'll win every debate. Haley will chip at any advantage Vance claims. He won't escape unfazed. He was party to minimizing the efforts of our number one ally. That's an unwashable stain, unless you are a paid Tucker Carlson fanboy.

All true, until we surrendered. After surrendering, our president mocked our greatest ally. He told the world that Syria can do a better job than the IDF in controlling Israel's enemy! That stain will never go away. People who are okay with that are frankly ignorant or so loyally blind that their opinions are suspect.

Operation Epic Fury was the help. The Iranian people sat and watched. They had a chance to at least try. Not one attempt was made. We killed the Supreme Leader. Sank their navy. Destroyed their air defenses. Degraded their missile and drone capabilities Blockaded their ports for 2.5 months. Fractured their leadership to the point where nobody knows of the new Ayatollah is even alive... If that qualifies as "no help" then then only thing acceptable to you would be a full-scale invasion and that's not something we are in any way obligated to do. There WAS help. The uprising never materialized and that is not our fault.

@Hunter_Eagleman There is no red line for some. Mine was crossed when Trump praised the Syrian leader and stated Syria was more capable than Bibi and the Israeli military in handling Hezbollah.

Netanyahu has bluntly told Trump that Israel will never accept a ceasefire in Lebanon or withdraw under any circumstances. Good. Screw the weakling Trump. Israel must crush Hezbollah and the Iranian regime at all costs. Let this deal collapse. God bless Bibi.

@AnamaMOSS He cares about the stock market and what Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones care about. Which is a shame and a mistake. So sorry for Israel, #Trump cannot ever make up for the insults.

Many are waking up understanding that Trump doesn’t actually care about Israel, Jews, Muslims, Druze, Christians, Kurds, or millions of others caught in the crossfire. He cares about the stock market and money - full stop. Once you accept that, the disappointment fades and the truth becomes clear. It’s not personal - it’s transactional. Most politicians aren’t in the business of helping humanity. They’re in the business of moving money between countries and entities through deals - some in front of cameras, most behind the scenes. When the next disaster hits, just follow the money. You’ll see who orchestrated what.

@AK74StL Yep, horsecrap, and no, he won't ever realize the damage caused. Praising the sketchy Syrian leader over Israel points to someone deeply flawed. I was a three-time voter. He effed everything up.

I stand with Marco Rubio, Pete Hegseth and every other principled conservative who thinks this deal is complete horseshit. I blame JD Vance, Jarred Kushner and Steve Witkoff. Weak and pathetic men. I hope Trump comes to realize the disaster that this is and how he has been led astray.

What kind of an ego must one have to drag this sloppy MOU signing into the Palace of Versailles? This isn't an episode of The Apprentice, in the spotlight, performing. WTF? Trump berated and betrayed what Israel did in support of Trump's great military adventure. He siddled up and praised the Syrians? Not to mention his famous tweet from February when he told the oppressed Iranians the he was coming to help them. He's 80, and a lame duck. Stop the self glorification. The act is tired. Also, as a three-time voter please take a two week vacation. We could use a break from the continuous, relentless injection into every single news cycle. PS, what are you going to do when the IRGC violates this sketchy agreement? How do you repair what looks like a bruised relationship with our best ally, Israel? 40 people may read this, and you will never see it. Enough others with larger voices may get to your ears.

The moment President Trump signs the Iran deal at the Palace of Versailles. The agreement was finalized during a dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron inside the historic palace. The signing marked a major diplomatic milestone after months of negotiations aimed at ending the conflict between the U.S. and Iran.

@LauraLoomer I suggest he will resign sometime after the midterms. Maybe lay quietly in wait for a year, then come into the primary season, where he would be well armed against Vance. President Rubio has a good ring.

🇯🇵 I am Ozaki, a Japanese citizen. I have a question for people around the world. When I say, “I want to preserve the beautiful Japan I grew up in for my grandchildren,” I am often labeled as a far-right extremist or nationalist and attacked for it. Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so, why do you think this happens? Is wanting to protect your own country really considered a bad thing? I am not talking about hating other people or other countries. I am simply talking about wanting to preserve the culture, traditions, safety, and values that shaped my homeland. I would genuinely like to hear perspectives from people around the world. 🌏🙏

@VividProwess President Trump, You told Iranians: “Help is on the way.” But shaking hands with the Islamic regime ,the IRGC, Ghalibaf, and the murderers of our people ,is not diplomacy. It is betrayal. Every handshake with them will carry the blood of our people.

I don’t recognize President Trump sometimes. His tone, his way of words, the way he somehow, for some degree, defends the number one sponsor of terror, the Islamic regime of Iran, while at the same time criticizing Israel for defending itself. What on earth is going on?

I believe an 80th birthday affects a person. That would be an unacceptable excuse. His actions now are provoking head-scratching. Has he felt this way about Israel all this time? He is fascinated by Tucker Carlson, and he favors anyone with money and a following. Maybe we have seen peak Trump. We'll find out as soon as Iran breaks the ceasefire.

USA. A fast food counter. I ordered a sandwich. One sandwich. A simple request from a simple man. "Want to make it a meal?" Make it a meal. As if the sandwich were incomplete. As if I had asked for half a victory. In my land, what you order is what you receive. Here, every item stands one promotion away from becoming a trilogy. "What does the meal add?" I asked. "Fries and a drink for like two bucks." Two bucks. The price of transformation. My friend said everybody does it. The man behind me already had. "Most people do," the cashier said, tapping the screen where the meal glowed. Most people. The most dangerous phrase in American commerce. I said yes. Of course I said yes. Refusing fries in America is like refusing armor on the eve of battle. The tray arrived enormous. The sandwich looked smaller beside its new family. I had adopted potatoes and soda through a verbal contract that took four seconds. I ate the fries first. Honor is complicated. By the middle of the sandwich I understood I had not ordered food. I had ordered membership. I was not deceived. I was not disciplined. I had been defeated by a question that cost two dollars. A sandwich alone is an intention. A meal is a commitment. Upgrade offered at the counter cannot be ignored. It can only be accepted with fries. A man does not order a sandwich alone when the meal is only two dollars away. He only pretends he had a choice. I know the rule now. Say meal before they ask. Skip the hesitation. Who am I deceiving. I will order the sandwich again. I will hear the question again. I will say yes again, because in this country becoming more is always cheaper than staying exactly who you were, and I intend to become more at every counter I meet.
