@SilentSt0rmX @LogannGames Type 99 on the left, and a type 38 on the right. The rear part of the receiver where the bolt handle locks down is what I noticed first. The type 99 removed that feature.

@SkkBandit14 @SilentSt0rmX @LogannGames Yeah, thats why I brought up the bolts locking lugs, training/school rifles have them ground off and rely on just the bolt handle to handle the blank/practice round. Genuinely built training rifles also... just feel generally cheaper and dont interchange parts at all.

@SilentSt0rmX @LogannGames Thats a type 38 (6.5 if it wasnt converted to .257 roberts), there's quick ways to ensure its safe, full locking lugs, intact rifiling, nothing stuck in barrel/chamber. Theyre generally strong, just use a string for the first shot.
