Incredibly proud of how Imperial Saint ran today. In the leading pack for a long way and jumped so beautifully over the big fences, especially for just an 8 year old. Hoping he comes out of the race okay & looking forward to next season for him! @dickyjohnson77 @PJHobbs1

Just a few thoughts on Gold Dancer’s tragic incident today: If a fracture of the spine or other structure occurred due to the fault at the final fence, which remained small and stable at gallop but became displaced/worsened when transitioning to a trot.
