Look at old Black American family photos. Heels, fur coats, jewelry, zoot suits, etc. Our people didn’t step outside looking any kind of way. We carried ourselves with luxury and class. Presentation was always important!

Wait, this is perfect! Faith was always understandably compared to Mary but she and Mariah have a little more in common in how they approach their vocals. Their discographies intersect a little sonically from 1995 to 2005.
