@HaldermanEd @VetSheepdogsUS Actually, I’m a believer in giving people the benefit of the doubt, except where they continually fail or use animals for their personal gain. It happens all the time in animal rescue. I’ve seen more of it in the last 25 years than ever. He got his 1.5 million.

I read a story about a rescue organization where the president makes $800k per year and they didn't have air conditioning for a transport vehicle and dogs died. However, in spite of that, the organization is still doing much good for many animals.

@HaldermanEd @VetSheepdogsUS You give him more credit than what I would. He accused another rescue of backing out of $500,000 commitment although he didn’t name them. I’m betting he wished he hadn’t named G Beck since Beck told they couldn’t answer 1 question about the plane they had on the ground.

@HaldermanEd @VetSheepdogsUS I have to say that #Nowzad is transparent, updates where donations are being used and Pen Farthing has worked at doing what he said he would. Incredible that he got his staff and their families to safety. They are above board and what an animal org should be.

@PawsNeedClaws @VetSheepdogsUS Whether or not Charlotte lied or things went wrong (as they can and often do), I don't know. But for me, the important thing is that she is there rescuing animals, rounding up as many as they can. I understand your caution and disappointment in past things.

@PawsNeedClaws @VetSheepdogsUS It's very hard to trust again after people gave thinking it was directly helping the animals and were deceived. I still have faith in Charlotte as she is still there, still rescuing, and I judge based on actions - visible evidence of helping the animals.

@HaldermanEd @VetSheepdogsUS After doing some digging, I saw where SPCAI had Terri Crisp as a spokesperson years ago before she was outed. I know she’s a scam because I volunteered for her group Noah’s Wish in 2005 to help after Katrina. She had to repay part of the millions she ripped off.

You will need to apply to joint the group and answer questions such as understanding it's about military working dogs, etc. It appears that Dan O'Connor is doing his best to provide responsible updates.

@HaldermanEd @VetSheepdogsUS He’s been in touch with KSAR looking for a his dog. Didn’t even ask on the VSA page and they didn’t respond to his plea. He knows the dogs were turned loose.

It's hard to wholly believe anyone, and imho it looks like it will have to play out and then hopefully we'll be able to put all the pieces together. I hope that Betty and her owner are reunited very soon.

She said she thought the dogs were with VSA in crates when this guy here who is trying to find his dog, said all dogs were loose at the airport. He said he has been in touch with Charlotte. I would believe him over her.

I remember when it came out that old ladies were eating cat food to give their money to the PTL Club, believing it was a good cause. I don't know how some people live with themselves.
