Kelani River Reaches Critical Flood Level — Residents Urged to Evacuate Immediately
The Kelani River has reached its maximum flood control level, prompting an immediate evacuation alert for residents in Pilapitiya and Singharamulla, according to the Kelaniya Divisional Secretary.
Residents in the affected areas have been instructed to leave their homes without delay and move to the Kelaniya Dharmaloka Vidyalaya, which has been designated as a safe evacuation centre.
