I am looking for work. Based in Poland, so preferably EMEA or global remote. What I can do well: - influence customers about tech - design and implement cloud architectures So something like Cloud Architect / Platform engineer or Sales Engineering role.

Oops, we did it again 🤗 Three years ago, we shook up the networking space with the release of a freely available SR Linux container image. This was a catalyst for many great community projects, such as Containerlab, gNMIc, and many others. Today, we are announcing the availability of an ARM64 version* of the SR Linux container image 🎉 Free, public, ARM64 native. * - preview version. With ARM64 version of our container image, you can finally make your expensive typing machines with a fruit logo to do some actual work by running a networking lab. There are so many things to I wanted to explain and show you, so I went and recorded a 40 minutes deep dive on the topics of - Who can be interested in running labs on ARM64 arch? - What challenges are ahead of us when ARM64 is the target architecture? - What Network OSes can you run on it? - How docker runs on macOS? - What tools would I recommend using? - And how I run containerlabs on macOS. SR Linux CLI is one of the best Network OS CLIs and the team and myself personally work on improving it constantly. I will write a blog post about the Extended Ranges Syntax, but (as a teaser) check that. Imagine you're dealing with a route table with many routes (pic #1) and you want to focus just on a subset of the output. The extended ranges syntax allows you to use the shell-like globbing to filter on the prefix 😱 (see pic #2)

This year I am on a mission to create/run interactive @go_containerlab and @clabernetes workshops. When we will run those workshops all our attendees will get a personal VM where they can follow the instructor's flow on their VM. All you need to have is the SSH client. And I had so much fun and progress in the IaC land until I anchored to an island of configuration management where a naked Ansible was waiting for me with a crooked stick and bollocks covered in leaves. I wish we had Pulumi for configuration management 🙏🙏🙏 because I am so tired of these arcane variable resolution rules.
