This is no #Aprilfools! Sidewalks are being poured at our Betty B Chidester Campus. Kitchen equipment is being connected, the pavilion's pavers are installed, and 38 beds have been ordered (@ParamountSleep). JCOC.org is getting ready to move in later this month!

Good News! Kitchen equipment and cabinets are being installed, and apartment doors are hung in JCOC's Macon & Joan Brock House. Plumbing, fence, carpenters, and concrete progress was made this week too. #AffordableHousing

The Macon & Joan Brock House on JCOC's Betty B Chidester Campus is on track to be finished late April 2026! Single adults experiencing homelessness will move into the 38 studio apartments. The Todd A.J. Walker Community Room will soon open its doors to Hunger Relief guests.

Thanks to VB Elks #2268 for a $2,000 Elks National Foundation Spotlight Grant to support food purchases for our Hunger Relief programs. Big thanks to Elks member Teri for securing the grant & unloading the food with us! We’re grateful for partners who help care for our community.
