@EugeneREQUIEM5 yes Reese has improved her game tremendously, no argumentt there - however could argue that Clark had them on the ropes in 1st qtr with her rhythm - White killed that rhythm, will never know if that is enough to overcome a good D, white never lets it play out

There are two major differences between the Atlanta Dream vs Indiana Fever in 2026 vs 2025: Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.
Angel Reese is a top defensive player who is effective against all 5 positions. Atlanta now has that player
CC stifles team rhythm.

@KevinButle86973 Not a WNBA expert, however Clark does need to improve attitude and defense but, the frustration is that it’s not her solely costing them wins, but she takes the brunt of the criticism - when they win it’s a team effort, when they lose it’s Clark’s fault - just crazy

@SingleSistah2 @cdssportspod I would agree they both need each other, think that is a fair statement. But to say one is better, you can make any stat combo that would argue either one. And to be honest they both are terrible on defense, difference is KM is quicker and recovers better.

@LainaT480440 Dumbass. The COACH is flawed because SHE doesn’t know how to best use the talents of the players on her roster. You don’t try to fit a square peg into a round hole. A coach needs to have enough knowledge and adaptability to be flexible. White doesn’t have it.

@coachandere6xa She didn't change the offense. Atlanta tightened the defense and Caitlin turned the ball over 5 times in the third quarter. Atlanta is a better team. Pieces fit.

Why Stephanie white changed the offense from the first qtr besides being dumb ? Her obsession with her boring and ineffective motion offense is hurting the team . Not to mention she doesn’t know what fouls to challenge . 2 on Aliyah were marginal contact and she didn’t challenge

@sportsfan6718 this is such a tired argument. One metric doesn't make or break MVP nor best in positions. Her TO's are high but not that high. The entire team is a turn over and foul machine.
at least 2 of those turnovers were just as much teammates fault.

Hot shooting in the first half masked all the Fever problems. When the shooting cooled, Indiana's lack of defense and Caitlin's turnover explosion exposed how much better the Dream are constructed. Indiana's pieces don't fit. Average team.
