Today, we pause to look around and give thanks. On this Thanksgiving Day, I wish blessings upon every table, peace in every home, and gratitude to continue guiding our path as a community.

Last night, we closed a chapter that will forever mark the cultural history of our community. We celebrated the final Viernes Pequeña Habana of 2025, bringing to an end more than seven years of art, music, tradition, and unforgettable moments shared with thousands of families.

We bring to a close one of our community’s most cherished traditions. We concluded the distribution of Thanksgiving turkeys, and this year we took an extra step by adding Christmas pork shoulders, ensuring that 6,500 families can enjoy the flavors that remind us of home.

🎶 Feliz Día del Músico! A todos los músicos de esta linda ciudad, ha sido un verdadero placer ofrecerles una plataforma digna para presentar su arte por más de siete años, tanto en la Pequeña Habana como en nuestros eventos en Bayfront Park.

Continuing to bless the families of District 3 We carry on one of our most meaningful traditions: the Thanksgiving turkey giveaway, and this year we also added the Christmas pork shoulder, reaching 6,500 families.

The new Woodside Park is now a reality! This past Saturday, we joyfully celebrated the grand opening of this beautiful space located at 3701 SW 1st Avenue, a place designed for everyone to enjoy, connect, and share moments surrounded by nature and community.
