Now that I can say I was on set & took these pics, yes, I did get lost twice. The set was huge, I walked the wrong way through yellow hallways for several minutes. It was very surreal, Kane did an incredible job.

Despite most of the marketing for BACKROOMS featuring the iconic yellow rooms, the new trailer seems to suggest that the film will be exploring more unique areas as well like the ones seen in Backrooms - Found Footage #3.

Kane Parsons believes that Backrooms is “a really faithful adaptation” of his Backrooms YouTube series, combining many of the visual, tonal, and emotional elements that his fans know and love, with the film being a more “intimate and personal version” of that world.

Any time a different area is shown from the movie, there’s always people trying to say that it means there are levels. Same thing happened after the trailer. Everyone repeat after me … THERE ARE NO LEVELS IN KANE’S BACKROOMS. It is not the same as the Extended Wiki Lore! 🫤

The set design for Backrooms is absolutely insane. It’s a surreal blend of something both familiar and alien in its architecture and it captures the feel of the YouTube series so well. HUGE props to the talented crew that worked on this film, they deserve so much love!!
