After careful consideration, we’ve decided to discontinue Lofi The Yeti on Monad and move forward with a completely new project. We created Lofi on Monad because we genuinely believed that expanding a meme across ecosystems could strengthen the overall narrative, just as we’ve seen with many of the biggest memes in crypto. Communities have taken ideas across chains for years, helping them reach wider audiences and new holders. However, it’s now clear that the original team does not share that vision, and we respect their position. Rather than spend our time on conflict, threats, or legal discussions, we’ll spend our time building. Effective immediately, development and promotion of @LofiTheYeti_MoN will stop. Holders are encouraged to make their own decisions regarding their positions, as our focus is now shifting entirely to a new project that will be announced soon. One lesson I’ve learned from this experience: The strongest brands aren’t remembered because they limited exposure. They’re remembered because communities carried them further than anyone thought possible. Myself personally I have been supporting $Lofi by buying every dip since the Cetus hack. Now seeing more clear, I will be moving on from that. @eyezenhour good luck and wish you every success. One advice: Don’t poison Lofi community, they are pushing investors away, just like Sui did. 🥶

Again, I do understand your point and yes I should’ve made contact. I don’t disagree to that. What I do disagree is “assumptions” that you just made and lofi community members which made me write the last part of the tweet. ( haven’t sold and I won’t sell anytime soon) lost a lot already buying dips. If you would really looked in to details before assuming extractions and quick bucks, we would’ve had a different conversation. To quick to judge 🙂

Except you took the least professional way possible to do this > Didn't contact us to ask how to help or if you could use our brand > Instead set up a fake Lofi that damages our brand reputation and image > Launched a token to extract from your audience or to make quick money You could have done a dozen things differently here To be clear, there were no threats made. Just cold hard facts that by law, the brand will defend itself legally against impostors and violators of the law You don't want to support Lofi anymore? Great - we don't want people who decide to diminish the brand's value and go rogue associated with such a great community

This has to be the biggest BS I’ve seen on X in a while • Steal a brand’s identity and launch a copy on a different chain • Get no permission from the original team • Get called out by the original team (rightfully so) • Then claim the original team isn’t open to new markets and announce that you’ll no longer support the project You’re just a scammer with ChatGPT subscription sir

The original founders and community have a vision already, to create a global onchain brand. That is what we are continuing to do. If as you say you support lofi-2:native there are many many ways you could have done that without trying to create a new and very separate mission. The Lofi team and community will be just fine thanks.

Weather you chart watch, or check wallet activity it doesn’t make any sense to just go out on your own and start a contract on Monad without talking to the team first. Since Lofi isn’t a CTO there is absolutely no reason and or/ authority to go out and start your own contract on another chain. Foul play at the highest and you’re smart to end it now.

We have no intention of harming anyone, including holders or Lofi brand itself. I am a Lofi holder myself on Sui and I would’ve not done that if so. Our intentions was to spread the Lofi brand same as any other well known memes on the market. I will be very happy to discuss in private if that will be possible. And I do respect your comment.
