Good morning friends. I’m back!! Trying to catch up on all the news. We tuned out of politics for the week and it was a nice break. Our time with my family was perfect. It couldn’t have been better. My lovely wife was in her element and able to cook for them and entertain. Her chicken enchiladas are famous with family and friends and were raved about. I got to treat them to dinner at our favorite restaurant, Longhorn Steakhouse, to celebrate their first trip to Kentucky and their recent birthdays. My wife also got to cook huge breakfast meals each morning and our dogs were all such good dogs the whole time they were here. My sister and her husband fell in love with our dogs and told us that they have now decided to get another dog. Their last one passed away and they have been heartbroken for a while. Our big dogs made them so happy and made friends with them really fast. I think they helped their hearts to heal. My sister’s husband also caught his first ever bass in our pond and it was a really nice 3 lb fish that put up a good fight. Really good memories. Now me and my wife are preparing for our first annual Lange Memorial Day BBQ. Looks like about 25 people coming so far. I’m in charge of cooking all the ribs. Should be a great time. Life is good! That’s me with three of our five dogs.😁
