it was nice knowing y’all. 2007-2022, wow. births, deaths, everything in between: met the wife here, made friends, met amazing people, had multiple career/life 180s and still found community. i will miss everyone! i don’t love mastodon so i’ll just be floating around lurking. ❤️

@a_hoverbear @grhmc @wilsonjholmes If you install fish via Nix outside of NixOS you can also override it to inject the nix profile at the same point that NixOS normally provides its own env vars, though sadly this requires rebuilding fish as it has to write a file into the same derivation.

2 years of medical intervention to ttc, 2 awful pregnancies w/hemorrhaging and 9mo of HG, and 2 kids later: no trouble removing tubes but everyone pushed back on a hysto. it‘s been easier to explore from a gender affirming standpoint than just that i’m fucking done with it. 🤨

i would love for apple to come out with a simplified privacy-preserving guide to tracking cycles in the Health app, along with changes to make sharing and off-device storage of this data more difficult and with a warning. paper tracking can be a nonstarter for disabled folks 🤷🏻

@isaiah I’ve heard that Gabapentin can help. I used to take that for some nerve damage. I was trying Effexor but the side effects are not great, so I need to talk to my doctor again about the next thing to try.
