@CynthiaCleric @KapnToona I'd say exploration is different!! (From what I've seen so far) I feel like in Minecraft youre "allowed' to explore while in hytale you might get punished for it since mobs are harder f.e. (but maybe i misunderstood that part)

@KapnToona @Lua_ris Minecraft is also much more of a sandbox focused on creativity, while Hytale has those aspects just not fleshed out or streamlined yet. You feel the difference a lot more in the upgrading and combat which makes it feel like it's own thing. Exploration is much the same tho

I'm curious: Why do people think #Hytale is better than #Minecraft? A lot of statements I've seen since the launch of Hytale (and even before) are that it's "better than Minecraft" and how after playing Hytale they "don't want to go back to Minecraft" Which aspects+

@CaptnDutchie I hear you! It kind of reminds me of the whole "omg this is genshin 2.0" when games like Wuthering Waves came out, since it's just a game with a similar concept that got created bcs of demand for these types of games (could be wrong here, just a general impression)

@Lua_ris so i haven't played it but a lot of our mutuals have and i've watched / talked to them. it's just the new game right now, it has some quality of life things that are better than minecraft but the overall content is far behind. i feel like it'll fade once the new wears off
