@aliciaandrz It’s like Jacob wrestling the angel, only wafflier.

@aliciaandrz Can they just, like, drop the prayers off at their local Kohl’s? Or do they have to find the original box and print out a shipping label and all that? Seems like a hassle either way, tbh.

@heymrsbond I’m a FYW Director. We’re developing this resource to help students with procrastination. Since it’s an issue of emotional regulation rather than laziness, we give students tools to understand their feelings toward school. Esp imp for first-gen.

@aliciaandrz I pair with tights, scarves, and even a light sweater when needed. I verge a little Vera sometimes but I’m ok with it.

@aliciaandrz The panic is so ingrained in us. There’s so much messaging out there that encourages and rewards the panic.

@aliciaandrz /stepping down from my soapbox contributes to my daily steps, right?/

@aliciaandrz Sadly I also limit time w/friends who are super obsessed with calories/steps/ weighing food. I’m talking hours-long convos about it. So triggering & offensive. Like, can u not see ur heavier friend sitting here listening to ur belief that gaining 5 pounds is the worst thing ever?

@aliciaandrz If you put things off by doing other things that are also necessary but less vulnerable (like laundry), then tell yourself you’ll spend one wash cycle responding to emails.
English

@aliciaandrz 1.) start by sorting items that need attention into an action folder. Then take a break.
2.) replace any apology you start to offer with thanks instead. “Sorry for the delay” becomes “thanks for your patience” or “thanks for the reminder.” Also, neither is absolutely necessary.
