@Mathbitious

I've become someone who reflects on being better than I am today. I love to learn math, to teach math, and to help students discover their intelligence.

Can someone from the math community explain why nine and ninety-nine hundredths is displayed like this at the store? 😏

To my educator friends -- is there another term for circulating during student work or "teacher circulation"? I ask because my colleagues and I have always used "circulation" but we are finding zero studies on patterns or effectiveness of teacher circulation. Like, none!

President = $400,000 (FL) Teachers = $47,500 The first one needs fewer required qualifications… (scratching head) At a minimum, we need anyone in the first seat to pass the GKT, subject area, and professional test. #Goodmorning

#mtbos #iteachmath friends - my 8yo found these in my math supplies. He’d like to know what games he can play with them. (Aside from hours of noticing/wondering) Anyone have a collection?

@teedjvt This is a concept I tell myself all the time… and I needed to hear again today. 👌🏾

I get teased a lot for this, but I actually like waking up at 4am to do school work. The house is quiet...I listen to music & I am super focused & productive. It is almost blissful ... #earlyriser #teacherlife

Should we remove “x” as a symbol for multiplication?

Thinking of our current math standards, what concepts are no longer relevant for students in 2023? Feeling curious…

@teedjvt I’ve used TnT to engage multiple conversations among students. The “side” benefit is that I can hear the multiple, raw, developed, or undeveloped thoughts of my students. So, I agree being that I’ve always felt more “in-touch” with students when I do the listening.
