The settlement covers the immediate and permanent stop to running or updating the Turtle WoW private servers, distributing or supporting the modified game client, and working on any similar “remastered” or emulated WoW projects. From my understanding, the case isn't 100% closed yet. The settlement requires certain actions to be completed within the next 60 days.

@SGPandorum @N_Tys26 I play retail to raid and do keys with friends that still play, I've played the different iterations of classic that have been released, and after 1 month, they always devolve into bots ridden shit holes where the only people still playing are ones blinded by nostalgia.

@ShitpostRock2 Controversial opinion, but WoW deserves to be top 3 considering how dominant it has been in the mmo space and the longevity of it. It's had its rough patches, but it still manages to bounce back every time.

@KalebPrime If people actually paid attention, there would be few issues. Arthas appeared every other quest back in Wrath and let us go, but somehow, Xal'atath is the cartoon villain. There was eventually a decent reason for Arthas doing it and there's one for Xal'atath as well.

No, you see, Blizzdrones claim that a villain spending 2+ years worth of vagueposting cutscenes in which she does a villain evil laughter, says villain sentences while there's copious amounts of focus on her bare feet only for her to be interrupted by something, say, an arrow, and then she "claps back" at the person who interrupted her villain actions with another villain laughter and sentence before teleporting away is GOOD STORYTELLING and it means WOW IS BACK. (Just play the game for the gameplay because its solid enough right now. Do not attempt to make sense of the "story" because it cannot be salvaged anymore).

You could definitely just execute these guys, too. It’s really not a big deal. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s a totally fair and reasonable public response. We’re so far gone that we’re supposed to be having an argument about whether to execute the guy who kidnapped, raped, and murdered a little girl. Were the guy who stabbed a stranger in the neck on the train. But you could definitely just execute these guys, too.
