The road to building financial infrastructure isn’t always clear. Sometimes it looks more like navigating through a fog of war game. On the latest episode of Money Code, @chuk_xyz and @rparekh are joined by @zcabrams CEO of @Stablecoin to discuss why the usual founder advice to “focus, focus, focus” didn’t apply while building in stablecoins and cross-border payments. Instead of trying to predict the market, Bridge enabled developers and let the ecosystem reveal where stablecoin infrastructure was actually needed. Tokenizing assets isn’t just about trading. @zcabrams, co-founder of @stablecoin, shared his view on how moving financial assets onchain expands their use case. A tokenized stock carries the same upside as the underlying asset, but once onchain it can also serve as collateral in DeFi lending markets. That opens the door to borrowing against those assets at lower rates, with access to global liquidity and markets that operate closer to 24/7. Full Money Code episode link below ⬇️

Career update! After ~3 years on the BD team at @SolanaFndn, I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new chapter at @raincards 🌧️ Rain’s mission is as impactful as it gets — building a global payment network powered by stablecoins, one that advances how people and businesses move money around the world. Just wrapped up my first week and can confirm the hype is real … @rooqster and @cnaut have built an exceptional org. My time at Foundy was deeply formative. I’m incredibly grateful for the leadership from @toly, @rajgokal, @calilyliu and for the opportunity to grow alongside so many close colleagues — @knimkar, @jnwng, @Pedromiranda to name just a few — as well as the countless inspiring teams across the @solana ecosystem (which will ALWAYS be home 🫶). I’ll continue to be based here in NYC and working with partners across the crypto world. Looking forward to reconnecting with many familiar faces along the way— reach out if you wanna chat @raincards !

Starting a company before the market validates your thesis changes how you interpret demand. In the latest Money Code episode, Bridge co-founder @zcabrams joins @chuk_xyz and @rparekh to reflect on building stablecoin payments infrastructure when the idea made sense internally but had little external validation. Early market conditions can shape founder instincts long after the market itself has changed. A useful lens for anyone building in stablecoins, fintech, and payments today. In the US, banks and fintech companies generate thousands of dollars per customer each year. Outside the US, across billions of people, it’s often only a few hundred per customer. What happens when better financial tools start reaching those markets? In the latest Money Code episode, @ay_o joins @chuk_xyz and @rparekh to explain why even modest increases in revenue per customer across billions of people outside the US could dramatically change the size of the global banking market. Stablecoins may be stable to Americans. But in countries with volatile currencies, they can feel like an appreciating asset. On Money Code, @chuk_xyz and @rparekh are joined by @ay_o, General Partner at Refract VC, to unpack why the biggest stablecoin opportunity may actually be outside the US and why billions of people are turning to dollar-denominated savings from their phones. If you’re building fintech in the US, you’re not competing with outdated banks. You’re competing with Jamie Dimon. On our latest episode of Money Code, @chuk_xyz and @rparekh are joined by @ay_o to unpack why founders often underestimate how competitive financial services really are. If that’s the competition, your product has to be really good. Full episode is now live! Link in the comments below 👇 Presented by @thestablecon. Powered by @BVNKFinance.
