Today would have been Michael Hutchence 62nd Birthday, he was an amazing singer/songwriter as well as pin up and the epitome of cool, hope he's looking down today, proud of his musical legacy. pls RT

Today would have been the 79th birthday of Janis Joplin, an amazing talent who left us far to early. Heres some of images of her & her 1964 Porsche 356C painted by her roadie Dave Richards, titled 'The History of the Universe' its one of the most iconic art cars ever. pls RT

While we're on the subject of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band their bassist Vernon Dudley Bohay-Nowell used to be owner of this very Alvis TJ 12/50 he converted it from a saloon to a tourer in 1965, looks like its still around, pics via Brightwells would love to see period pics pls RT
