Rosie O'Donnell: "It should be embarrassing to be a billionaire. It should be embarrassing to have the ability to help society and choose not to. How much can you have?"
This guy drank some Red Bull from the mini fridge not realizing how expensive the charge would be. When he saw the prices on the menu, he grabbed some from Walmart to replace ones taken from the mini fridge.
He still got charged on his credit card 💳 for the drinks not realizing there are sensors in the mini fridge to let the hotel know the items have been taken out.
Do you think that’s fair or should there be a sign on the mini fridge to warn of changes?
Jury duty is such complete BS!!! My son is on his 2nd full week. The State just rested so there is at LEAST another 2 wks! He’s used all his PTO. Parking is $14/day & pay is $20/day. During questioning he said it would cause financial hardship. They don’t care 😡
This woman is trying to decide if she should walk away from her $300k paycheck because her law firm is 'making a deal with Trump'
What advice would you give her?
This guy is upset because he owes $5,000 in property taxes. He goes to the bank and gets all one dollar 💵 bills to pay thinking the tax office will feel his annoyance. They are just staff and can’t control how much a person owes, he should take that up with the county auditor. Do you think his actions were petty or justified?
@JamesMelville True. It depends on the
computer too. Simple
written instructions would
help some, but many just
don't want or can't afford
a computer. Phone screens
are too small. Being forced
to go online violates privacy
too.
I feel so sorry for any elderly person who struggles with online admin / isn’t online and doesn’t have a support network to help with online admin. Almost everything is online or automated now. And for those who aren’t online (in particular the elderly), they are marginalised.
Was there some kind of dramatic discovery of new benefits of hydration in the last ten years? We never carried water bottles around all the time until recently and nobody I know of shriveled up and died of dehydration in all those years.
Digitalisation is “for your convenience.” - try explaining that to the 3 million people who are not online in the UK. The majority (67%) are aged 70 or over. The digitalisation of everything is creating digital exclusion for millions of people - in particular, our elderly.
