Here’s a rarity…. A little about me. I grew up in the Midwest. Raised in a conservative house attending a Catholic Church. I was programmed to look down on people with skin that wasn’t like mine. I was programmed to hate the LGBTQ community (It was “Gays” back then). I was that asshole who made life miserable for those people. Through high school and college, I was literally everything I hate now. I was that person who I stand against today. But that doesn’t correct the wrongs I’ve done, That doesn’t erase my past. I strive everyday to make up for the person I used to be. I can only ask for forgiveness for those I wronged in the past, And protect and uplift those same people today. I was wrong, For that I’m truly sorry. I’ll spend the rest of my time trying to make up for my past. I was that guy.
