تركيا تحذر الولايات المتحدة: إذا شاركت القوات الكردية في ضربات على إيران، فسيكون الرد العسكري فورياً. في وقت سابق، ناقشت الولايات المتحدة دعم الجماعات الكردية في عمليات غرب إيران، إلا أن موقف تركيا تعقد بسبب هذا الدعم، إذ ترى فيه خطراً على النزعات الانفصالية قرب حدودها. ووفقاً لصحيفة "تركية"، حذرت أنقرة الجماعات الكردية بشكل مباشر: أي مشاركة في عمليات ضد إيران ستؤدي فوراً إلى رد عسكري تركي.
