I'm just not sure that I really have the bandwidth to care anymore. For my entire life, I've been fed the idea that if we provide food, medicine, money, and infrastructure to Africans, then they will eventually find their way out of their miserable situation. But they haven't and in all likelihood, they never will. In fact, everything we do to help them just seems to make it even worse.
No one - absolutely no one - takes pleasure in seeing children starve. But the constant violence and war and killing and raping and starving and poverty and illness...it's just neverending. I'm at the point where I just think we need to let nature take its course and let their population naturally reduce to a level they can independently sustain.
We can't fix these people, and we're going to have to just accept that killing each other is just how they go about their lives.

i think hausa tribes are some of the oldest civilisation we have in NIGERIA
Politically, they are organised because they learnt that from the various empires they have created
the hausa dressing, way of life and language is still alive
they are proud of their clothing and culture, even the rich among them always speak hausa and hold the language dear
i think that is the trait of a culture that never forgot its history and make sure to pass it from generation to generation.

It happens in NYSC camp, the lady in front of me was stained and check around and I was the only one that noticed so I stepped forward and whispered to her that she is stained, she shouted Jesus, I said calm down nobody has seen it I have covered you, I took off my khaki shirt and gave her to cover herself and ran back to the hostel and cleaned up, till we left that camp she respects me, she told all her friends this Fulani boy is a good boy, he saved my ass 😂😂
