So… turns out if your #atomprobe is #hydrogen free(ish), even Palladium doesn’t really have hydrogen in the mass spectrum. Who knew 🤷🏻‍♂️

@PFelfer It is a kind of custom flange. The viton gasket can be replaced by helicoflex gasket for compliance with uhv. A lot of size exist

I need help from you out there: I inherited parts from an old LAWATAP, including two transfer rods. Do you know what style flange that is?

So, I built a #Voron 2.4 350 over Christmas, and now I can print a prototype #UHV chamber in less than a day. Gamechanger for scientific instrument development. #atomprobe

@sh_abhi2k7 @PFelfer I have a portable one in glass tube design without channel plate. It takes 20 minutes until you see atoms, but works fine for instantaneous FEM. Students loved it! 🤩

Next project: a #carbonfibre suitcase. Made a prototype with only a polypropylene GN 1/2 plastic container as a mould and a vacuum storage bag. Didn’t turn out half bad.
