MLB and Ken Griffey Jr. have announced the first-ever "HBCU Swingman Classic” — an annual showcase for 50 D-1 players from HBCUs.
"This gives these kids a chance to play the game they love on a national stage.”
The first game will take place at 2023 All-Star weekend in Seattle.
