A year ago, our original co-founders Dustin Balsley and Dane Kuper made the decision to take back full ownership of the company. The transition gave our team new energy and created more opportunities to better serve our customers. "If a 12-year-old can do it, anyone can!” 💪 When Britni Schmaltz's husband got super sick, she suddenly found herself in charge of feeding–something she’d never really done before. Their 6th-grade son, who helps every night and rides along in the mornings, stepped up to teach her how to use Performance Beef. Britni had always left the feeding to her husband and the crew, but thanks to her 12-year-old teacher (and an easy-to-use program), she was up and running in no time. 👋 Meet Ben Siefring of N. Siefring Farms & Trucking in Coldwater, OH on this week's #PLASnapTakeover 📍 Ben, along with his brother Mitch, father Neil, and mother Mary (their bookkeeper), run the family operation raising corn, beans, and wheat. They manage beef/dairy crosses for finishing and backgrounding and handle livestock hauling with their trucking crew. 🌾🐄 Their team includes Zach, the main farmhand, plus three drivers who haul mostly livestock. This Veterans Day, we honor all who have served our country, including veteran rancher Josh Eilers, owner of Ranger Cattle in Austin, Texas. After serving five years in the U.S. Army and earning a Purple Heart for wounds sustained in combat, Josh traded military missions for a new mission: raising high-quality, sustainably produced Wagyu beef. Drawing on the same grit, discipline, and leadership he developed in the Army, Josh has built Ranger Cattle into a thriving farm-to-table operation serving the Central Texas community. We’re proud to work alongside producers like Josh Eilers, who continue to lead with integrity and resilience, both in uniform and in agriculture. Thank you to all veterans for your service and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
