I am just giving my thoughts on why it has failed thus far, and to not leave anyone wondering what happened. The truth is another platform did what we did but with a mechanism that allowed for tokens to reach attention, be tradeable via any terminal, which caused increased liquidity and eyes. $PERP is immutable and liquidity can not be removed, and it will always be the first token backed by $XSOL on solana.

Thoughts on why $PERP has struggled to gain market share with leveraged memecoins on Solana, while other projects have taken the share. The main problem was network effects of trading terminals in my view, though we have built out a full platform, and launch mechanisms backed by $XSOL The main issue has been been instant propagation of new tokens on trading terminals such as Axiom, Terminal, etc. New tokens on the platform have to be traded via Jupiter, and to view new pairs you have to use our site. Compared to competitors which instead of backing tokens using leveraged token assets, they launch in $SOL pairs and use fees to fund leveraged collateral, this gave competitors the eyes and reach from being integrated with terminals. I just wanted to give a quick message to not leave anyone hanging for why the platform has been failing, which many can see compared to competitors, and not leave anyone hanging wondering "what happened" The truth is the whole mechanism has caused issues with attracting new eyes due to the only way to trade $PERP or trade tokens on perppad through jupiter. $PERP is still immutable and the first real leveraged token backed by $XSOL on solana, and the platform is still useable. But some thoughts above of what has failed so far over the last week of working on building out the application and token.

Memecoin traders don’t define Solana, apparently perp traders don’t either. Huge props to @vibhu / @SolanaFndn for taking on this challenge and giving me the opportunity. It’s been fun.
