One of our maintenance positions have opened. The gardener position's main duty is to help care for our many flower beds. This position will close on December 14th. More maintenance positions will open soon along with our student interpretation positions. usajobs.gov/job/764407300

@Coffeehousejoe @MILLERBOATLINE Yes 327 steps between lower and upper elevator landings. Stairway is for service and emergency use only. Not designed for visitation.

@PerrysVIPM @MILLERBOATLINE Just wondering . . . Are there stairs that lead all the way to the observation deck?

Tours are suspended to the observation deck because the elevator is not functioning. The morning's storm and near-by lighting may have been the cause. Repairs are underway but we do have an estimated time when it will be safe to resume tours.

Is this information overwhelming? Don't worry! We'll have plenty of Park Rangers out and about helping with parking and answering any questions that you may have. #planlikearanger

-The first lot is open to all vehicles and is located in the grassy field at the east end of the park's grounds. -The second lot is only open to golf carts and is located on the lawn of the Administration Building. This lawn is adjacent to the Visitor Center parking lot.
