Bad move @Uber . Last week I had to get my wife to hospital - she her broken patella. I booked a cab for 8:10; Uber allow 10 minutes delay; we were 60 seconds late; Uber charged £8.52 for a cancelled booking; there is no way to challenge. Uber - play by your own rules.

Aviemore Coylumbridge Hotel sent this letter to staff today. Not just fired but chucked out of their accommodation with no notice and no redundancy pay! @BritanniaLtd Britannia Hotels should be ashamed of themselves. Certainly no "room at the inn" here, disgusting.

I shared thoughts with @DotDavies1 on @BBCWales today on doggy bags. Are we too embarrassed to ask? I believe the answer is yes in most cases. But food wastage is moving up the sustainability agenda - should restaurants offer customers the opportunity to take uneaten food home?
