@fanfleon Yes. APIM is something that I was thinking about as well. Also, there is certainly some more protection I need to build in the function itself which is not there in the code I published. I will update with some more guidance around that.

@PowerShellMag CORS won’t help you against direct calls like invoke-restmethod. Without authentication, I admit I don’t see a lot of options except APIM (or any other API GW). At least your will be able to filter the request and put throttling to avoid bad surprises at the end of the month.

@fanfleon CORS prevents it from other unknown domains. But, it is anonymous so can be called from browser. What do you suggest?

@PowerShellMag Pretty cool. Dummy question, how do you protect your function from rogue executions? I'm on my phone so I can't check, but I assume your full URL is available with the code from your SPA? IP filtering?

@samilaiho Have you read this before linking it? It's full of BS. Serious security articles won't talk about "15 ways to bypass an execution policy" or "disable Windows remote management". Or, use my @PowerShellMag logo thinking that's the official #PowerShell logo. :)
