Back after a 7-day trip — it was amazing and a much-needed hard reset. Got sick right after and spent the next 5 days recovering, so the whole break stretched to nearly 12–13 days. Feeling better Back to daily learning, regular updates.

Week 9 is the quiet filter. From 100 people who start: ~40 make it past Month 1 ~25–30 reach Week 9 No hype left. No motivation spike. Just routine vs excuses. This is where consistency stops being a goal and starts becoming identity. Most don’t quit loudly here — they just fade out. If you’re still showing up at Week 9, you’re already in the top 30%.

## Day 66/180 **Cohort 4.0 (Bootcamp 1.0) of @kirat_tw — Week 9** Today was a **deep learning + building day**. ### Things I worked on: - Started building a **complete Authentication System** - Focused on using **best practices from first principles** - Used a **real database** instead of mock data - Worked on designing a **proper file structure** - Completed Week 9 lecture on **Authentication (JWT & Local Storage)** ### What I learned: - How to use **JWT (JSON Web Tokens)** in authentication - Basic use of **environment variables (.env)** - How real-world **authentication systems work** - Creating a user in the database (**201 status response** ) - Understanding **Express routers** and structure Today was about not just coding, but **thinking like a backend developer**. Still trying to deeply understand how everything works under the hood, but this feels like a **big step forward**.
