@The_Rose_Gaming @FrostedYukio @RaceCrossWorlds Yea we shouldn’t be able to pull a monster truck or drill in 4th, that’s excessive as hell! slime is also pretty ridiculous and green glove shouldn’t lock on imo. Too many homing items that are strong atm.

It's interesting how Mark acted like he was above everyone he knew that tried to act as a perfect arbiter of right and wrong (Cecil, Dinosaurus, Allen, etc) only for him to end up the exact same way. There's a hypocrisy in him by the end that's never questioned just bc he's Mark.

Star Ocean 2R has gorgeous art, UI and presentation, maybe even goated Combat is too annoyingly simple for A REMAKE tho. Last Cloudia/Tales Of The Rays did Claude way more justice than his own game smh Tales of Phantasia NDX’s remake SHITS on this and it came out 16 years ago

@frionel26 @Fro_of_Fighters It’s deeper than they intended since they wanted to be more inclusive for players of all skill levels. I get where you’re coming from especially as a vet at these games where practice is vital, but the devs felt differently.

I understood why they removed it, it's clearly explained further. That's not my point. My point is that the sentence saying "it changed into something that required practice and knowledge" like it's a bad thing, is where it gets confusing. Good mechanics should require practice and knowledge to get its full potential, in my mind. But maybe I am too old to think like that.

@frionel26 I think that's just exceptionally poorly written. The extended explanation shows more of what really happened, with how WA became an overcentralizing mechanic and how it was basically built to cover for character flaws.
