Recalled today that using a ternary operator result as an L-value is a valid C/C++ construct. (b ? var_b : var_a) = 1.0f; Been once briefly tempted to use it for terseness, but it would be abnormally surprising to the reader. I wonder if anyone ever used it meaningfully ?
