/ i do understand where you're coming from , it's genuinely harder to explore those types of themes purely because you don't really know whether or not your writing partner / whoever sees your post is comfortable with it .

Not a mage, huh? My ass ‘yer not. I can smell it, along with something I don’t recognise. As for why I need it to survive? I’m a jumped up familiar. My body’s made of mana, and it’s constantly drained to support my existence.
