Q: Do you allow so a card can only move to the next step? A: We encourage distributed decision making 'cause in complexity, forcing process restrictions on conditions yet unknown, can lead to unintended consequences. Instead we do “Simple Rules” with policy guidelines. #Agile

@johncutlefish There is often more ready defensiveness by the founder CEO usually in the 'first person' singular when speaking of the product/service.

@agileschools While there are ambiguous terms like 'necessary', this focus on 1. Waste 2. Linearity. 3. Control can have many unintended consequences such as local, premature optimization etc. #Kanban Focus on Fitness of function (notice not purpose) is better.

@alshalloway Let's see. There is a place to judge of 'right' and 'wrong'. We'd prefer less moral terms. Insight is contextual & its accuracy known posthumously. More can be said here but additional insight also needs context :). #complexity

Al Shalloway🇺🇸I can have your folks guide you
one's insights can never be made wrong. Someone can only enable you to see your insights were wrong. This first requires them to be challenged. If when proven wrong the right response is "thanks" That's the right response when challenged.

@agileschools An "Other" is a Placebo story placed into an iteration during Spring planning. It helps create a buffer. Using buffers has a fairly dependable way to help flow—#scrumban.

It is not 1. A tool 2. A framework or method 3. A consultant ..that is responsible for your organization's fitness or productivity. Stewardship is at the core of most Agile Principles. Don't listen to anyone who sells themselves as the silver bullet. #Agile

"Why members behave the way they do, we often look for the "values" which govern behavior.Values are harder to observe directly. Often they require us to interview key members.. to do fairly complex content analyses..." #culture #sensemaking #Agile spryng.io/agile-demo/
