📉 The Cost of "Common Sense" in Colorado
Colorado’s wolf reintroduction is turning into a masterclass in Democrat overspending and ecological mismanagement. What was sold to voters in 2020 as an $800,000 annual project has ballooned into a $3 million taxpayer nightmare in just one year.
Democrats don't do math.
That’s 3x over the original budget, and the results speak for themselves:
Financial Drain: $1.6M in staffing and $900k in operations alone.
Rancher Hardship: Nearly half a million dollars paid out for dead livestock—and that doesn't cover the stress on our local producers.
Poor Outcomes: Despite the massive spending, we just lost another wolf to illness.
This wasn’t just a hit to our wallets; it’s a hit to our ranchers and the balance of our local ecosystem. When "ideology" ignores "reality," the taxpayers and the animals pay the price.
Democrats don't care as usual.
Now one of the million-dollar wolves just died because of a cold.

A Colorado woman whose husband was killed in a crash on Highway 285 nearly two year has continued fighting for change to the trucking industry since then.
She was surprised, but interested, when the president called on congress to pass what's been deemed "The Dalilah Law," barring states from granting commercial driver's licenses (CDLs) to "individuals who are not citizens or lawful permanent residents of the United States."

Bipartisanship just became a 4-letter word at @CUSystem.
Regent Ken Montera built consensus and earned unanimous support as vice chair to Dem chairs.
So why did partisan @coloradodems try to stop him from becoming CU's new chair?
Today @DenverGazette:
denvergazette.com/2026/01/16/a-p…
"The regents have served as a model of the bipartisanship that Colorado’s vast middle craves. That Rennison and Montera — a Boulder liberal and a Colorado Springs conservative — work together so well, for the betterment of CU, exemplifies this fact. ... Alas, partisan shrillness from the Left pressured the board’s Democrats to flip."
