I'm not sure why you aren't connecting the dots. This is a specific evening that the MLB is asking for players to promote a lifestyle that they think is a sin. If there was swingers night and you had a certain hat to wear...you would see the same thing. If there was pro-choice night with a special hat...you would see the same thing. If there was adultery night with a special hat...you would see the same thing. If the MLB can just focus on baseball instead of trying to make players wear gear representing controversial social issues then we aren't having this conversation. Also, if you want to have Pride Night...so be it. If players had a normal uniform and wrote something on their hat on that evening, I can see a little more reason for people being upset. But this is a direct response to the MLB making them promote something they don't want to promote. It's a no win situation for the players because if they don't wear the hat, they get roasted online and if they wear it but write a Bible verse next to it about rainbows (nothing hateful) then they still get roasted.

If MLB players want to wear Bible verses on their uniforms then do it all year round. Don't just show your religion when you see an opportunity to attack. That's acting like a snake in the grass.

That's because they aren't being forced to wear a hat with an adultery logo on it. I can assure you that if people were forced to wear a hat endorsing adultery (which why wouldn't the MLB have adultery night...since we should just promote love and inclusivity for all) then there would be a lot of folks who would add a verse next to it. Also, this has nothing to do with Trump. I don't think most who voted for him think is a moral example that they are seeking to follow but they do like his policies more. By the way, Kamala has her own personal adultery stories as well. This has to do with the MLB asking athletes to promote a lifestyle that they don't agree with so they can sell hats...period. Doesn't mean that the players hate the people...it's ok to disagree with choices someone makes and not hate them. But they just don't want to endorse it either and help the MLB sell more hats!

@Senor_Chickles @armstrongtimes This has nothing to do with “tolerating sin” and everything to acknowledging that baseball acknowledges that the game is for all. I have yet to see any of them writing verses condemning adultery on their hats during either of Trump’s terms on President’s Day.

Jesus also said "go and sin no more;" don't miss that! He wasn't just tolerant of everything and homosexuality is clearly a sin throughout the entirety of the Bible. Regardless, this is a baseball game. These guys have no reason to be wearing a pride hat any more than they need to be wearing a hat with a cross on it. I don't think any of these guys have any issue with anyone coming to a game and enjoying it. Gay, straight, divorced, Christian, Muslim, etc. But to ask them to wear the logo for the LGBTQ community when they may not endorse that lifestyle doesn't really make sense. Would Democrats wear a Republican hat to show that baseball is for all people? Would pro choice players wear a pro life hat to show that baseball is for all people? It just doesn't make any sense to me.

But if they didn’t wear then people like you get online and post pictures of them and call them names…just because they think differently. They signed up to play baseball…not be billboards for the LGBTQ agenda. I’m certain they want all the fans there to enjoy the game and there are beliefs that we all have that everyone doesn’t agree with. No reason to even put the players in this position.

He is the person who advocated for them to be released. If you want to talk about logic, don’t you think if there was anything implicating Trump, Biden and Kamala would have used it during the last election? Vance talked about it this morning…the emails between Trump and Epstein in the files aren’t pleasant and friendly. Clinton was worse, with the Lewinsky scandal and Epstein. That’s a fact.

They are putting the players in a bad position because if they don’t wear the hats they get roasted on social media. All because they just want to play baseball and not be a part of LGBTQ stuff.
