@scriptwren That is the toughest thing THEY’VE had to do as a parent, people have it far tougher, there’s no disputing that but it’s a valid feeling to have.

Just seen someone post on FB that they have had to do the hardest thing they’ve ever had to do as a parent- drop their kid at uni. Stopped me in my tracks. While I am sure it’s a bittersweet moment, aren’t they lucky if they think that’s the toughest thing. Kind of beggars belief
