Windows needs to not suck. Even though I'm typing this on a PC, I dread using it for anything other than video games and AI and even that's been largely supplanted by Claude and Grok. Mac is way better with Co-Work than Windows, too. If the Mac had better support for video games, I'd stop using my PC entirely.

This isnt some kind of gotcha. Art is subjective . And being told something is AI makes it worthless to many people. No one who said the real Monet looks bad because u lied about it being AI will now suddenly like AI.

@RetnaburnX But yeh if i see something that looks cool and i zoom in and see its AI its disapointing. An AI that makes art without a person getting to expirience the creative process is like buying a robot to go on vacation for u.

@RetnaburnX i follow a few artists that use AI exceptionally well. But i cant stand chatgptisms in everything i read and sloppy mediocre ai art on every search i do... i want a way to filter it out tbh

@RetnaburnX U can study the moves made and the compter will make better moves but in the human game u can see the drama that happend and its way more compelling. AI art is empty of meaning just like a chess program.

@RetnaburnX Eg. Computers are now way better at chess than people. No one gets excited watching 2 computers play eachother. We want to see what people are capable of and to see two players struggle and plan and psych each other out etc. Art is the same

That's fucked. I hope they burn. I really enjoyed your music in Subnautica. That's why I looked you up and followed. I hope discussing AI doesn't tarnish that.

@RetnaburnX Its not irrational at all imo. If i bring u some pork and tell u its human meat u will be grossed out if u taste it.

@Sim_Mix I don't think the point was to change their minds. I think it was literally a "gotcha" to shine a spotlight on the irrational hatred, specifically targeting those you mentioned, who hate things simply because of AI, regardless of quality.

@timsoret Similar study showed men given testosterone were less likley to lie for personal gain. Another study showed that lower T men tend to act pro socially but only when they are being watched where as high T men behaved the same regardless if anyone is watching

@anikibubba When u work on a game IP its hard to enjoy it the way a regular player would. Eg in SN1 i have 900 hours or so but i never player it start to finish. Its all about finding and fixing bugs audio mixing etc . It would be like visiting a jobsite
