@htan7 At the time, I had worked in sim about 5 years. I knew basic hardware, software, and networking. I walked in without studying and passed. You might brush up on medical vocabulary (prefixes) and simulation pedagogy. Things like principles of insitu, debriefing etc.

We live because we listened to that song in many environments, many times. What if we looked at every skill in our scope of practice that way? OVERTRAIN TO PERFECTION.

How is gender identity being handled in hospitals appropriately? I’m about to administer a medication but the armband says male and I believe my patient is female. Do I administer it or double check my 5 rights?

By mistake I made a bunch of patient armbands say male for a female patient. No one noticed. Is sex/gender even a valid indentifier anymore? If it is, how do you politely handle a discrepancy as a healthcare provider?

And I know I’m not alone in being frustrated.
