Can teachers spot essays written by ChatGPT?
Anecdotes abound, but we have data!
We included 8 ChatGPT essays in our Y4 assessment of 50k pieces of writing. 12k teachers judged them & we offered a prize for spotting the ChatGPT ones!

The fact that Chat GPT seems to have come as a bit of a whirlwind surprise to some educators has scarier implications than the ‘program’ itself.
