On this Earth Day, our Sol Systems team partnered with @loveRockCreek to host a cleanup at @RockCreekNPS--one of the largest urban parks in the US. We spent the afternoon removing trash, reconnecting with nature, and reflecting on the responsibility we share in shaping our future. We recently broke ground on a 2.5 MW solar project at the Urbana and Champaign Sanitary District (UCSD) in Illinois. Developed by Sol Systems and @OnyxRenewables , the project will generate over 4M kWh in its first year, helping reduce energy costs. Sol Systems has reached financial close and started construction on the transformative Tilden Solar Project, a $345M, 182 MW solar farm sited atop a historic Illinois mine. We’re repurposing a 1,050-acre historic mine site into a renewable energy asset, bringing sustainable benefits to the community and environment and powering the equivalent of 33,800 Illinois homes annually. We're proud to support @The_CA_Fund’s solar project launch at @hhps_eagles school. The project provides energy bill savings to 150 low-income households and will offset nearly 27,000 metric tons of CO2e over 35 years, helping Maryland meet its climate goals.
