@alpacinogrunt @TA1297 Def could be off base but I just feel like we’re so deep in that we might have to move JB atp and there’s truly no better return than Giannis and that could make us “desperate” enough to throw in more than just JB + 1 first.

@TA1297 I never said he had a bigger market than JB.. But an extra first *adding* to package MIA can offer absolutely makes the *Jaylen alone* or *Jaylen and a first* vs. Miami package debate close enough to where they might just go with GA’s preference unless those POR picks come back.

I think decent return is like *maybe* a first, if that. If he had a real robust market, they would have taken the deal at the deadline. 0 chance he has a bigger market than JB.

If this is true it’s probably over and he’s going to Miami, unless POR gives back MIL’s picks. I could see actual contending teams valuing scaling Herro’s skill set down more than adding Jaylen’s more rigid profile

@RealBobManning My best take from all the sourcing is that the Celtics probably told them their side and ever since MIL has been exploring third+ teams for BOS/MIA and if BOS is outbid then the negotiation starts
Jaylen is probably not officially “offered” because there isn’t a formal one yet

Understand how this works. C's should explore acquiring Giannis for lowest possible price. We all also know the most realistic path to getting Giannis if BOS actually wants him. If they're not serious, they have ability to squash Jaylen rumors & get out. Theyve floated in-between

Considering who it’s from, this feels very noteworthy.
He was also the one who put it out there that the Celtics wouldn’t be in any rush to extend Jaylen this summer.

Yea Bucks have likely done due diligence on what they could possibly get for JB and they probably are fine with that. Miami probably has to produce something of note for Herro for them to consider Miamis offer and so now pressure is on them. Barry Jackson was rightly freaking out when Cs were first mentioned.

@TA1297 And to me this is why the Boston talk slowed down. What else is Boston gonna offer? It’s not ongoing. Now it’s on the Heat to try to beat Boston’s offer (if it is JB). No point in rushing it, bucks are gonna leverage both teams for everything they can.
