I find it amusing, in the Singaporean food courts I have visited, many of the cooks are from Malaysia cooking Malaysian dishes. Penang food seems to be quite popular in their food court. Also, their chicken for their chicken rice comes from Malaysia. Can't be anymore Malaysian than that.

One of the most shameless and largest scale food culture heists in history is Singapore appropriating what is Malaysia’s multiethnic cuisine and selling it to the entire world as uniquely Singaporean. I wonder why Malaysia and Indonesia do not impose charges on ships using the Straits of Malacca. I don’t mean toll charges like the Straits of Hormuz, but reasonable fees to clean up the waters caused by too many vessels using the waterways It must be the dirtiest waterways in the world. Surely the coastal states have sovereignty up to 12 nautical miles under UNCLOS should be able to impose reasonable fees to clean up the mess But the leaders of Malaysia and Indonesia are afraid Singapore will object to proposing something like this

The weird thing about Sunday is that, on the face of it, all the pressure should be on City. They need to win probably more than Arsenal do and certainly can’t lose. They finished 3rd last season and haven’t meaningfully challenged in Europe since winning the CL in 2023. Yet all the focus will be on Arsenal (and it makes sense too).
