It’s finally out, the secret scene is now publicly available and integrated into the main game! To get this scene you need to ignore Zekoro’s sage advice and pick a certain plant without protection. If you have already seen the secret scene, this does add some additional dialogue and a cute scene with Purple as long as you don’t access it via the keypad. Some of the localizations may not be entirely complete, but any missing parts should be added in the coming weeks. In our poll, some of our supporters suggested going into more detail on why updates seem to be taking longer, and we agree. At the end of this month we will discuss some of the technical challenges we’ve faced building a game as asset-heavy as Pony Waifu Sim, our plans to resolve these issues, and a timeline for the upcoming updates. The good news is that you shouldn’t have to wait nearly as long for the next major update. For now, enjoy making some Zebra magic!

Pony Waifu Sim Update - 10k Followers! Thanks to all of ya’ll we finally broke ten-thousand followers this month! That’s a lot of mare-lovers! In other news, we finally are ready to announce the release date for the processing of the golden leaf. We aim to have this content, complete with two new minigames, ready for release by May 17th! Our upgrade to the dialogue system is taking a bit longer than anticipated, so we decided to switch gears and get this next chunk of content out first. Thank you all so much for your continued support, we can’t wait to show you all what we have in store!

@LordArthropod1 The two new mini games will be different from the ones already in the game and there will be failure states, but they will be replayable and we can't comment on any consequences.

@LordArthropod1 It is the golden leaf from the Laurel Wreath from Blue Fast's route. The leaf needs to be processed into what's needed to repair the portal. Just like the Morphus Mycena was.

@StudioWhyNot Of firstly just to confirm on what you mean of when you say the Golden leaf didn't mean that Golden leaf from that one crown that you get from the rainbow dash root?? (And if so I thought that part of that ingredient kind of thing was already done??)

Pony Waifu Sim Update - Early March There’s nothing quite like hitting the hay after a long day’s work. Maybe she will invite you to join her?🤔 (Inquirer tiers on Patreon and SubscribeStar can find out!) Most of the work this month has been dedicated towards on the upgrade to our dialogue system, Yarn Spinner. It’s quite an extensive overhaul, and we need to finish it before the next release. This does make it likely that the processing of the golden leaf will end up having implementation finished in April. Other work we’ve been doing involves maintenance and upgrades to our back-end hosting infrastructure. Also, one of our host’s servers began experiencing hardware failures, which took a while to diagnose, but thankfully it got resolved without any major issues. Thank you all so much for your continued support, we will continue to keep you updated on progress!

@Rory_Kenneigh Thank you! We have confirmed the issue and are investigating. If you make a new save and run through Purple's route (you can press X to skip dialogue) you should be able to access the making of the catalyst in the meantime.
