Damian isn't 3/4 white, he's half Arab-Chinese and even then why are we doing blood quantums in this fandom ?

in general it is really upsetting and completely based in racism that damian & his relationships with others like bruce are not allowed to progress or given the same amount of care & time as his white counterparts. characterizing damian this way is based in racist stereotypes

bruce and damian have the same conflict every 3 business days with damian never being allowed to move forward and it has a domino effect on talia bc all of damian’s ‘bad’ behaviour is then blamed on her and his ‘upbringing’

I also try not to criticize art styles, but this is insane. If it weren’t for the green eyes you wouldn’t be able to pick him out in a Robin lineup. His visual identity is being completely thrown out the window in this run and it really sucks

I try not to overreact from previews before the full context can be gleaned, but good god, the Batman #9 preview just compounds everything that’s bothering me with this run for Damian and Bruce. This “conflict” between them is SO trite and contrived and outdated, it’s insane.
