Man found murdered with his face #crushed with boulder at West Kailasapuram in #Sellur. A suspect, with blood stains, picked up from scene of crime. Since he is heavily intoxicated, he could not be interrogated, say the police. @THChennai #murder #Madurai

And after all, he did not have a fuel #guzzler bike, but a #TVSmoped that would give good fuel efficiency. As a school boy, when I asked him as to what difference his action would make, he simply said, his was a small #contribution to the country that was in crisis.

In early 1990s, when India faced similar plight of #fuelcrisis due to #GulfWar, my #dad, then in his mid 40s, used to leave two-wheeler back at home while going to office on Wednesdays. Instead, he chose to #walk for one km to catch #bus (2 buses) to reach his office.

இன்று வீட்டில் நடந்த ஒரு சம்பவம்.... வீட்டில் அம்மாவை முழு நேரமும் பார்த்துக்கொள்வதற்காக Agency மூலம் care taker வைத்துள்ளோம். வழக்கமாக இருப்பவர் ஊருக்கு சென்றிருப்பதால் மாற்றாக ஒரு அம்மா வந்திருந்தார். மதிய சாப்பாட்டில் அவர் என்னிடம் வந்து "எனக்கு எந்த தட்டு என்று கேட்டார். நானோ நம் வீட்டில் பாகுபாடு கிடையாது. ஏதோ ஒரு தட்டில் சாப்பிட்டு விட்டு கழுவி வைத்து விடுங்கள்" என்று சொன்னேன். பிறகு மாலையில் டிவி பார்த்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கும் போது, நான் செய்தி சேனல் வைத்திருந்தேன். அந்த அம்மா திடீரென "சார் உங்க வீட்ல எல்லாரும் திமுக வா?" என கேட்டார்.நான் பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்ததோ News 18. நான் எதற்காக கேட்கிறீர்கள் என்று கேட்டேன்... "இல்ல சார்... நிறைய வீட்ல தனி தட்டு வச்சிருப்பாங்க... நீங்க அப்படி வைக்கலையே... அந்த கட்சிக்காரங்க தான் இப்படி இருப்பாங்க.. அதான் கேட்டேன்" என்றார்... மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக உணர்ந்தேன்.... எங்க அம்மா அவங்களுக்கு பதில் சொன்னாங்க... " நாங்க எப்பவுமே கலைஞர் கட்சி தான்"... ஒருவித பெருமையோடு நகர்ந்தேன்🖤♥️🖤♥️ அகர முதல தொட்டு... தாடிக்கிழவன் ப்ளட்டு... அகர முதல தொட்டு... அறிஞர் அண்ணா ப்ளட்டு... அகர முதல தொட்டு... தலைவர் கலைஞர் ப்ளட்டு... @mkstalin @Udhaystalin @KanimozhiDMK
